Terms of use

These terms apply to cloudmash.dev and cloudmash.blog (the sites). By using the sites you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the sites.

Educational content

Everything on the sites is provided for general educational and informational purposes. We work hard to make it accurate, but it may contain errors or become out of date, and it is not professional advice for your particular situation. Test designs, configurations and code before relying on them in production.

Code examples

Code examples on the sites are provided as is, without warranty. You may copy, adapt and use them in your own projects, commercial or not. Attribution is appreciated but not required.

Content ownership

The text, diagrams, simulators, images and other material on the sites, apart from code examples and material we credit to others, belong to Cloudmash. You may quote short excerpts with a link to the source page. Do not republish whole lessons or articles, or present them as your own, without permission.

Third-party images are used under their stated licenses and credited where they appear. Names of companies and products belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Links to other sites

The sites link to engineering blogs, papers and other external resources. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Advertising

The sites may display advertising from third parties such as Google AdSense. Ads are labeled as such and do not imply endorsement. How advertising uses data is described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the sites, overload them with automated requests, bypass their security, or use the newsletter form to sign up anyone without their consent.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cloudmash is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the sites or reliance on their content.
